Amy Lynn Best is an American actress, comedian, and writer. She is best known for her roles as Lorna Morello in the Netflix series Orange Is the New Black and as Sherri in the Hulu series Shrill.

Best was born in Wausau, Wisconsin, and raised in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She began her acting career in Chicago, where she performed in improv and sketch comedy groups. In 2011, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and film.
